The XL Bully is considered a breed of its own.
GENERAL APPEARANCE:
The XL BULLY should give the impression of great strength for it’s size. Large size dog with a muscular body type and blocky head. The XL BULLY should have the appearance of heavy bone structure with a bulky build and look.
HEAD:
Heavy large and broad, medium in length, deep throughout, broad skull, very pronounced cheek muscles, distinct stop and set ears.
Ears:
Natural or cropped and set high.
Eyes:
Oval to slightly roundish, low down in skull and set far apart. All colors are accepted. No bugged or bulging, no cherry or pink eyes and no extreme white showing.
Nose:
Large with wide open nostrils. All colors and pigment acceptable.
Teeth:
Upper teeth to meet tightly outside lower teeth in form or scissor bite. No overshot or undershot and no wry jaw.
Lips:
Semi close and even. Looseness is accepted with the XL BULLY.
Muzzle:
Short-medium blocky upper side or slightly squared to fail away abruptly below eyes.
Neck:
Heavy, slightly arched and tapering from shoulder to back of skull. Looseness of skin is accepted with the XL BULLY.
Shoulders:
Strong and muscular with wide blades set wide and well laid back.
Back:
Length varies with the overall size of the XL BULLY. Straight line gentle slop to the rear. No sway or center hump.
Body:
Heavy mass and bone blocky body type ,well sprung ribs and ribs close together. Wide and deep in rear and straight topline.
Forequarters:
Muscular and set wide apart to permit chest development, straight legs and large rounded bones.
Hindquarters:
Muscular and let down at hocks, turning neither in or out.
Chest:
Should be deep, broad and filled in.
Tail:
Short to medium in comparison to size, low set tapering to a fine point. No kinked tails.
Feet:
Well arched and compact and tight feet, nails well groomed. No severe easty weasty or turned feet.
Coat:
Short, close, stiff to the touch and glossy and clean.
Color:
All colors are accepted!
Size:
Dog should be healthy. Height and weight should be proportion of the body frame.

XL BULLY Female 19″ XL BULLY Male 20 inches up to 23 inches
XXL BULLY MALE AND FEMALE above 23 inches
Gait:
Should be effortless and powerful. The action be unrestrained, free and vigorous with powerful drive off the rear.
Move with confidence.
Disqualifications: Aggressive behavior towards humans or other dogs, cryptorchidism (missing one or both testicles including undescended), Albinism.
*REGISTERING A Litter Or A Puppy.
If you breed an XL BULLY with an XL BULLY and both parents are registered as an XL BULLY in ICBR, then the litter can be registered XL BULLY.
If you breed an XL BULLY with a pocket, standard, etc, you can register as American Bully BUT when puppies are older and meets the XL BULLY standard requirements, then you can change the puppies registry to XL BULLY and show in the XL BULLY CLASS. Each puppy can be individually registered.
